Mr. Cochran joined Stone Pigman in 2007 and has over 15 years of experience. He has an active trial practice handling insurance defense, medical malpractice and workers' compensation defense. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana.

Regularly represents Acadian Ambulance in medical malpractice claims.
Representing Southern Fast Loans involving various injunctive reliefs including a lease holders' rights protection.
Successfully prosecuted an insurance fraud case for the Louisiana Restaurant Association Self Insurers' Fund.
Represented Anheuser-Busch in connection with a distributor contract dispute.
Represented Acadian Ambulance in connection with a medical regulatory compliance issue.
Represented Meritt McDonald Construction Company in connection with a public works contract bid dispute.
Education
Mr. Cochran received his J.D. from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 1991. He received his B.S. in Finance from Louisiana State University in 1988.
Professional and Civic Activities
Mr. Cochran is the President of the Board of Directors of the Charles W. Lamar, Jr. Downtown Baton Rouge YMCA. He is an active member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. He is a co-founder and board member of Baton Rouge Uncorked, a charity organized to raise funds for small non-profit organizations. He frequently speaks on loss prevention.
