Defending a major insurance company in class action lawsuit alleging improper claims handling.

Defending buyer of commercial property in suit seeking cancellation of act of sale.

Represented technology manufacturer in public bid controversy.

Education
He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2003, where he was an editorial board member of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law. He received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Harvard University in 1998.

Professional and Civic Activities
Mr. Courson is Treasurer and a board member of AIDSLaw of Louisiana, Inc. He is a member of the Louisiana State and New Orleans Bar Associations and a member of the New Orleans Bar Association Inn of Court. He is a volunteer for the New Orleans Pro Bono Project and is a former corps member of Teach For America.
