Ms. Godshall joined Stone Pigman in 2007 and is an associate of the firm. She earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2003, where she earned the Sive, Paget & Riesel Environmental Law Journal Award. She received her B.A. degree, with high honors, in Environmental Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Godshall served as senior attorney for Chief Justice Rogelio Valdez on the 13th Court of Appeals in Texas. She also served as law clerk to Justice Dori C. Garza. Ms. Godshall was admitted to the California bar in 2006 and to the Texas bar in 2005 and previously practiced in California. She was admitted to practice in Louisiana in 2008.

Ms. Godshall is an editor of the American Bar Association's Environmental Law Committee's website as well as a co-chair of the Subcommittee on Women Environmental Lawyers. She is also a member of the ABA's Young Lawyer Leadership Program's 2011-12 class. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association's Committee on the Profession and the Client Assistance Fund Committee, and was a member of the 2010-2011 LSBA Leadership Class. She serves on the Board of Managers for the East Jefferson YMCA. She works as a volunteer for the Pro Bono Project of New Orleans and also frequently advises and represents non-profit boards. Ms. Godshall received the LSBA's Pro Bono Century Award in 2011. She has co-taught several CLEs offered by the New Orleans Bar Association on litigation topics.
