Mr. Reymond joined Stone Pigman in 1996 and is a member of the firm. Prior to enrolling in law school, Mr. Reymond practiced public accounting with Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1991 through 1993 and earned his license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in Louisiana. In his business practice, he brings his legal and business experience to bear in representing and advising clients on the purchase and sale of businesses, be it through asset transfer, stock transfer, merger, or otherwise; the formation of business entities and joint ventures; the tax aspects of business transactions; and the raising of business capital through private offerings of securities and venture capital transactions. He was admitted to the Louisiana bar in 1996.

Education
Mr. Reymond received his law degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1996, where he was selected to the Order of the Coif. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1991, earning an undergraduate degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting. He earned his license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in 1993 and maintains the distinction of Certified Public Accountant, inactive.

Professional and Civic Activities
Mr. Reymond is a member of the American, Louisiana State and New Orleans Bar Associations. He currently serves as chair of the Section on Taxation of the Louisiana State Bar Association; as a member of the Board of Directors of the Catholic Foundation of the Archdiocese of New Orleans; and an active member of the Negotiated Acquisitions Committee of the American Bar Association, where he has contributed to several publications of the Committee. Mr. Reymond has previously served as an assistant examiner in the field of Business Entities and Negotiable Instruments for the Louisiana Supreme Court Committee on Bar Admissions and the Secretary and the Program Chair of the Section on Taxation of the Louisiana State Bar Association and as a member of the Board of the Young Lawyers Section of the New Orleans Bar Association. He has been named to both Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America in the field of Corporate Law/Mergers and Acquisitions.
