Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann L.L.C. Announces New Member
Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann L.L.C. is pleased to announce that Daria B. Diaz has become a member of the firm, effective January 1, 2007.
Ms. Diaz, who is a resident member of our Baton Rouge office, joined Stone Pigman as Special Counsel in 2003 and has 20 years of experience in environmental and energy regulation and litigation. She is a member of the Louisiana and Florida Bar Associations. Ms. Diaz teaches environmental law at the Tulane Law School as an adjunct professor and is past chair of the Environmental Law Section of the Louisiana State Bar Association. She is a frequent lecturer and author on environmental topics. Prior to practicing in Louisiana, Ms. Diaz worked at the Florida Department of Environmental Regulation where she litigated environmental permitting and enforcement cases.
Ms. Diaz earned her Master of Laws in energy and environment at Tulane University Law School in 1993. In 1986, she received her law degree from Florida State University College of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif, and served as Articles and Notes Editor of the Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law. She received her B.A. in Political Science, with high honors, from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1983.
