Stone Pigman's Talley Elected to Join the American College of Mortgage Attorneys

Susan G. Talley has been elected to join the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. Ms. Talley practices law in the areas of real estate development, financing, leasing and purchase and sales.

Founded in 1974 by a group of lawyers, ACMA sought to establish and maintain an integrated group of lawyers from each state who are highly skilled and experienced in the preparation of real estate mortgages, lending transactions secured by real estate and related practice.

Fellowship in ACMA is by nomination only. Qualified individuals exhibit substantial experience in real estate law and have distinguished themselves by publications, presentations, bar association activities, teaching or participation in the legislative process.

Ms. Talley is a member of the Board of Governors of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and a Supervisory Council Member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association. She graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University Law School in 1981 after earning the same honor while receiving her bachelor of arts from Louisiana State University in 1978. She was admitted to the Louisiana bar in 1981.

Ms. Talley is a founding member of New Orleans CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), a group dedicated to promoting the success of its members by providing opportunities to develop business through productive and supportive relationships, expand their knowledge and understanding of all facets of commercial real estate, enhance and foster the personal growth of its members and improve the business climate of the Metropolitan area. She has also been named to the Best Lawyers in America.

Founded in 1929, Stone Pigman has earned its reputation representing national, regional and local businesses in a full range of litigation and business matters, including corporate, securities, real estate, intellectual property, health care, tax and estate planning.
