Stone Pigman Client, Kaiser, Prevails in Plant Explosion Litigation

On December 16, 2002, a judgment was rendered in the Kaiser Gramercy plant explosion litigation in favor of Stone Pigman client, Kaiser. Judge Pegram Mire's order assigned fault of 25% to primary defendant Thomas & Betts, resulting in a judgment owed to Kaiser in the amount of $104 million. Stone Pigman member Richard Sarver was lead trial attorney for Kaiser. Other Stone Pigman attorneys who assisted with the case include Jay Gulotta, Paul Masinter, Rachel Wisdom, Mary Dumestre, John Farnsworth, Celeste Coco-Ewing, Kerrie Holmes, Andrew Mendez, Marjorie Salazar and Andrea Fannin.
