Larry Orlansky Co-Chairs ABA National Legal Malpractice Conference, Moderates Panel on Defamation Cases
Larry Orlansky is Co-Chair of the American Bar Association National Legal Malpractice Conference that will take place in New Orleans on April 27-29. He will moderate the panel presentation "When Does Zealous Advocacy Go Too Far: Handling Defamation Cases Against Lawyers" on April 28 at 11:15 a.m. The panel will examine recent high-profile defamation and similar tort cases involving lawyers and discuss lawyers’ ethical obligations to clients and possible tort exposure, the scope of potential liability for lawyers’ statements, and the breadth of the litigation privilege and other defenses.
