Larry Orlansky to Speak at the 22nd Annual Judge Alvin B. Rubin Symposium

Larry Orlansky will participate in the panel presentation "What Are the Ethical Limits of Zealous Advocacy in Preparing and Presenting Witnesses" at the 22nd Annual Judge Alvin B. Rubin Symposium.  The Symposium is hosted by the New Orleans chapter of the Federal Bar Association on April 17, 2014 at the United States District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana. 

The panel members will explore lawyers’ ethical obligations in preparing and presenting witnesses.  Topics that will be addressed include:  the line between preparing and coaching witnesses; false witness testimony; abusive deposition tactics; speaking objections; paying fact witnesses; and witness sequestration.
