Scott Whittaker To Receive the Louisiana State Bar Association President's Award
The Louisiana State Bar Association will present Scott Whittaker with the prestigious President's Award at the annual meeting in Las Vegas in June. He is receiving this award for his many contributions to the LSBA as Chair of the Special Committee to Study Proposed Changes to the Louisiana Bar Exam. The LSBA Special Committee was formed in March 2010 to review changes being proposed by the Committee on Bar Admissions. The Special Committee consists of lawyers from across Louisiana, as well as representatives of all Louisiana law schools. Prior to serving on this LSBA Special Committee, he served for many years on the Louisiana Supreme Court Committee on Bar Admissions, as Examiner (Business Entities and Negotiable Instruments), Director of Testing and Chair.
