Geoffrey Williams Joins Stone Pigman as Chief Operating Officer
Stone Pigman is pleased to announce that Geoffrey M. Williams recently joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer and will oversee operations, strategy, and a variety of other functions for the firm. The Louisiana based law firm counsels businesses of all sizes and individuals in significant transactions and complex litigation.
Williams currently serves as the international president and chair of the board of directors for the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), the 9,000-member premier professional association connecting leaders and managers within the legal industry. He has more than 27 years of legal and professional business leadership experience.

He previously served as COO and chief financial officer for a civil litigation firm in Alabama, and COO and chief information officer for an intellectual property law firm in Florida, where he worked to identify, develop, and implement strategic initiatives, built high-performing teams, and penetrated new markets.

Williams is actively engaged in professional development and leadership efforts for various organizations, giving keynote speeches and leading educational and professional development seminars at regional and national conferences.
He is also a member of the American Management Association, Society for Human Resource Management, The Institute of Management Accountants, and an Associate Member of the American Bar Association and its Practice Management Section.
Williams earned a Graduate Certificate in Law Firm Management from The George Washington University and is one of 372 Certified Legal Managers worldwide as credentialed by the Association of Legal Administrators. He earned a Master of Business Administration with Highest Honors (Beta Gamma Sigma, Sigma lota Epsilon) from Louisiana State University Shreveport, and a Bachelor of Arts with High Honors from Huntingdon College where he was a member of Tri-Sigma Honors Society and a founding chapter member of the ODK National Leadership Honor Society. Additionally, he earned a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary.
Outside of work, Williams enjoys composing and recording music. He has performed live on the keyboard and trumpet with several acclaimed musicians in venues throughout the United States and England. An avid sports fan, Williams attends college and professional sporting events, and devotes time to coaching youth sports leagues.
