Monette Davis Selected for the American Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Leadership Program

Stone Pigman is pleased to announce that Associate Monette Davis has been accepted to the American Bar Association's 2022-2024 Young Lawyer Leadership Program which offers opportunities for young lawyers to gain leadership skills and engage in substantive committee work within the ABA Litigation Section.   

Davis is among an elite group of individuals selected for their impressive experience in the legal profession and participation and dedication to the Litigation Section’s work.  The Section strives to appoint a diverse group of top legal talent to serve in the two-year program.

“I’m honored to be selected to participate in the Young Lawyer Leadership Program,” said Monette Davis.  “I look forward to the professional growth and networking opportunities the program will provide.”  

As a participant in the program, Davis will attend several leadership meetings throughout the year and serve on a Section committee or task force.  She will also be paired with a mentor from the Section’s experienced leaders.

Davis joined Stone Pigman in 2019, after graduating cum laude from Southern University Law Center where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Southern University Law Review.  She was recognized by the National Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division as “Young Lawyer of the Week” in February 2022, and designated as “Member of the Month” by The Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Legal Society in March 2021.  At Stone Pigman, Davis assists clients with fiduciary litigation, insurance defense and family law matters.
