Dan Walter to Discuss How Opportunity Zones Can Help Entrepreneurs

The Opportunity Zones Program aims to direct long-term private investment into underserved U.S. markets by providing tax incentives for deploying gains into specified census tracts. Gov. John Bel Edwards designated 150 Louisiana OZs, with the entirety of downtown Baton Rouge, all of the New Orleans BioDistrict and Central Business District, and properties surrounding both Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport all qualify, as do areas near Southern University, the Louisiana Tech Park at the Bon Carré Business Center, the Algiers Naval Support Activity and the NASA Michoud Facility.  How will OZs impact New Orleans entrepreneurs, and how can New Orleans lead the nation in OZ investments?  Join Dan Walter at the "How Opportunity Zones Can Help Entrepreneurs" panel presentation at the New Orleans Entrepreneur Week on Thursday, March 28, 2019 to learn more about this important program.  Additional information about the presentation can be found here
